The Flemish League for Fibromyalgia Patients and FibroRes fully support scientific research into chronic pain.

In collaboration with the University of Ghent, a number of studies on the impact of chronic pain on the quality of life of patients and their immediate environment are executed.

In one of the planned studies the impact of parental pain on their children, will be examined. Further research is also planned for the helping role of partners.
